With a screen measuring 31 cm and a weight of 7.5 kg, this TV could operate on both a 220 V mains supply and a 12 V battery. In an era dominated by sterile, often gray, beige, or black televisions, the Minirama 31's bright colors were a refreshing change. Iskra, a prominent Slovenian and Yugoslav company, was renowned for its innovative designs. Among its notable creations is the Iskra ETA, a telephone that became one of the most widely copied models in the world, and is now part of the collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
